The Balthazar Rectangular Table is made of the beautiful non-endangered Eucalyptus Shorea a hardwood growing naturally and plentifully in Asia Pacific protected forests. In Asia Pacific Shorea has been the wood of choice for centuries in shipbuilding furniture houses and many other uses. Because of its hardness and the natural oils present in the wood Shorea products are extremely resistant to fungi termites rot and decay. In addition the wood is also carefully kiln dried prior to production. The dimensions of the table are 59 inches long x 35 inches wide x 30 inches high and weighs 57 lbs.

Bar Table That Fits Apartment Deck Space

We got this table and Strathwood Falkner Highbar Chair with Seat Cushion Set of 2 as a three-piece set of patio furniture gift from a friend. The chairs came assembled while the table wasn't. Table assembly was of modest difficulty and was completed in about twenty minutes. The set is attractive and is a nice complement for a smaller deck. The metal used for this set is lightweight and seems strong. The chairs did not come with cushions and are uncomfortable without some kind of padding. You probably won't want to sit in the chairs sans padding for more than 10-15 minutes.More detail ...

A waste of money

This product is a complete waste of money and the marketing spiel on the box about how it takes less than 10 seconds to assemble the table is in my opinion nothing short of a lie.

Product quality is terrible and assembly is a total pain. The legs unfold pretty quickly but attaching the upper runners and the table top is an excercise in frustration since you need to line the pegs up with holes that can't be seen during the assembly - lots of groping around needed. Putting the table back in its carrying bag is even worse and takes about 10 minutes to do.

I immediately sent the product back to Amazon since it does not in any way meet the claims in the ad - but unfortunately I am now $30 out of pocket for returning it.

Glass top required

The table looks nice and is a good size. The problem is that it does not come with a glass table top. In the heat the top gets warm and stretches making things on the table tip over or sink. It is also difficult to clean with no top. I would give this table a 5 star rating if the glass top was included. I had to purchase one separatly for $160 making the overall cost of the table somewhat expensive. I do LOVE the strathwood collection though a good value and beautiful furniture.More detail ...

Lifetime 72" Round Table

We needed a solution to seat 10 for dinner parties and this table works wonderfully. Once dressed with a nice tablecloth you would never know it is a folding table. we had been looking at crate&barrel and pottery barn sets but wanted to be able to eat as well as have a patio set so when i stumbled across these we jumped at the chance. build quality is really sturdy and the size is perfect for eating and hanging out with a group of 6 and their food drinks and serving dishes. the assembly was extremely easy and the hardware was impressively organized and labeled to match the instructions. i definitely recommend the entire set.More detail ...

Expensive Look for Indoors or Out

I LOVE these tables. I think they have a nice weight to them and I live in very windy Arizona and we just get beat up with the dust and wind. The finish is very nicely applied almost like a power coat finish. Personally I use 2 outdoors and 1 inside (in the breakfast nook with a couple of loungy chairs they have a good "sun-room" look) and have received compliments on both. They are also the best packaged of all Strathwood or any other products I've purchased through Amazon.com. There is foam firmly inserted between each table so they shouldn't scratch in shipping.
